Hi everyone,
Ian & I spent a month at Matthew & Charmaine's place, then back to Doncaster East for the rest of January 13.

For the Australia Day weekend the club went to Sale, we spent 10 days down there with friends coming and going. Ian Mac & David Louden helped Ian put speakers in & a drop down table on the van. We spent our days site seeing around the area. The Motor Museum in Maffra was great, followed by a yummy lunch and a visit to John Scott's home to see his collection of old Jugs, Toasters and many TV's, Radio's, Victa Mowers and piles of other stuff. We also went on a drive to Seaspray for morning tea and onto Loch Sport. The Swing Bridge was very interesting the way it swings open to allow boats through.

It was back to Doncaster till the long weekend when we went to Clunes for the weekend. It was a hot weekend and some of us did not have power as you can see. We all went swimming at the local pool and dinner at the pub.

We left Melbourne just before Easter and headed to Mildura with an overnight stay in Charlton. Mum was with us so we had fun with her sleeping on the couch in a sleeping bag. Nice spot at Charlton you can have and onsuite site for $20 or free camp at the back. We arrived in Mildura and dropped Mum at Geoff & Marion's where she was staying for a couple of weeks.

Ian & I went to Trentham Winery to watch the Ski 100 race on the Murray. We had a lovely lunch with wine and Mum, Geoff & Marion came later.

We left Mildura after Easter and headed West stopping at a free camp outside Burra, next day to Port Augusta for 1 night. Next was a free camp at Pooercha, when we reached Ceduna we found that our hot water service is leaking. We got that part fixed and continued on our way west.

At this stage we are zipping along the highway getting to Nullarbor in time to unhitch and go for a drive to see the Murrawiginie Cave system. There are 3 caves to see, but of course you can't go down into the cave.

After crossing the Nullarbor we stayed in Esperance for a couple of days then moved onto Hyden and Wave Rock. We walk along and around the rock, to the wildlife park, toy solder display, lace display, we had a lovely morning with lunch and coffee.

From Wave Rock we moved onto Perth and stayed as usual at Perth Vineyards CP, ran around trying to get the hot water service fixed, which Ian did. We had dinner with Shirley & Brian before they went away for the weekend, lunch with Micheal & Lorraine.
From Perth we went east to York to stay a couple of days with Rod & Carol and what a great time we had.
